Viber

Connects an agent to a Viber Public Account. Users message the account on Viber; the agent receives and replies within the same conversation.

Before You Start

  • Sign in to the Viber Partner Admin Panel at partners.viber.com.

  • Create a Viber Bot or Public Account.

  • Copy the Auth Token and the Bot Name from the bot’s settings page.

  • Optionally, note the Avatar URL if you want to display a custom bot avatar.

Your agent must be published with an active version. The Channel Gateway MCP must also be enabled:

  • Global: Admin Panel → MCP Servers → Channel Gateway → Enable and Deploy

  • Workspace: Workspace Settings → MCP → Channel Gateway → toggle ON

Configuration

Credentials

  • Bot Auth Token — The authentication token from the Viber Admin Panel. Required.

  • Bot Name — The display name of your Viber bot. Required.

  • Avatar URL — URL of the bot’s avatar image. Optional.

Route Settings

  • Description — Optional label for this channel instance.

  • Purpose — Optional note on when the agent should use this channel.

  • Session Expiry (hours) — Idle timeout before a conversation session resets. Default: 4. Range: 0.01–48.
