# Configure

You build a Coworker across seven tabs, each covered in its own page. Only the five fields on **Basics & Identity** are required to create one; every other tab can be filled in later or skipped.

| [Governance](governance.html) | How it is kept safe — guardrails on what goes in and out, and approvals before sensitive actions. |
